IMPALA

This pic was taken in our eastern section of the game reserve. During the last few months we have had numerous uncontrolled bush fires in the whole of our reserve due the poachers trying to flush the game out and various other reasons. So I was very glad to see all the impala still in the area and managing to ding some food availability.

AMAYI

TAKING A DRIVE IN THE RESERVE

Today we needed to go into the Reserve to pump water at Migudu camp site.

My sister and I decided to sit on the roof of the Land Rover on the way to the Reserve and boy was that fun! We got very sun burnt because we did not put on suntan lotion the temperature in the sun was 49.9 degrees so it was quite hot! We still had fun and will definitely do it again!  We did not see much but that was because it was the heat of the day and all the animals were lying down in the shade, we saw a herd of Kudu,  a troop of vervet monkeys and two squirrels!
