OWL NEST
I was walking in the reserve when I came across an owls nest, it was so cool it had so many mice skulls inside. I had to take a few photos, certainly interesting!
ZAMBEZI GARTER SNAKE
When clearing out some bush we came across a zambezi garter snake. It was very small, only 20cm in length and probably still a young one. It is a dangerous snake and has venom similar to a cobra.

LEAPING FROG
Just another day cutting cabbage for my rabbits when a little reed frog jumps out of the cabbage and on to my arm. The little thing looked like gold in the sunlight.
LAZY SERVAL
When days are tough it is just so nice to sit back and watch the humans do all the work. LIFE IS GOOD!

MORNING WALK
There is nothing better than a early morning walk following a big herd of African buffalo, but it starts to get exciting when one of the female sees us and gets us a bit worried, so we back off a short distance until she is more comfortable with us. We then watched them and followed them from the safe distance.

LOCAL COMMUNITY
Some of the few things that my sister and I do in the villages with the village children, are to make them aware of the environment. We do clean up days once a month, which involves the kids cleaning the whole of Chimpanga village and we speak to them on how important it is. When these days take place we round up as many children as we can and get them motivated to clean, then after about an hour of cleaning we sit down with them and with our translater we speak to them. Of course this cant all be done without giving them a 'treat' afterwards! So after we have finished with them we send them on their way with a few sweets.

OUR ANIMALS
At the moment we have our two lion cubs; who are not really cubs anymore, Moran and Amayi. Then we have 2 duikers, one lives in our house and his name is Gigi, and the other lives outside and her name is Lucky. And the naughty serval, Felex, who can really get in the way at times.
